Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Straindex, operated by RaizHost LLC(the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility

Use of the Service is conditioned on your confirmation that you are 21 years of age or older and that cannabis is legal in your jurisdiction. The Service is an information service: we do not sell, deliver, or facilitate the purchase of cannabis. We link out to each retailer’s own site; any transaction is solely between you and that retailer.

Accuracy & availability

Listings reflect public records published by state cannabis regulators. License status can change between regulator ingest and the time you view a listing. Verify with the operator before relying on availability, hours, or licensure. Menu and price data, when present, is collected from operator-published storefronts with a freshness stamp on each record; treat anything older than 24 hours as indicative only.

Acceptable use

You agree not to scrape, crawl, automate access to, or resell straindex data without a written agreement. Rate limits are enforced server-side; abuse, attempts to circumvent them, or use that disrupts the Service may result in your access being suspended.

Intellectual property

Underlying license records are government public records, and menu data originates from third-party operator storefronts; we claim no ownership of that source data. We do claim rights in the straindex compilation — the selection, geocoding, normalization, freshness layer, and arrangement of that data — and in the site’s design, code, and branding. The acceptable-use restriction above applies to that compilation. You may not use our name or marks without permission.

User submissions

If you submit a correction or message through the report tool, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it to operate and improve the Service, and you confirm you have the right to share it. We may use, decline, or remove submissions at our discretion.

Copyright / DMCA

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice with the information required by 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3) to our designated agent at contact@straindex.raizhost.com. We respond to valid notices and counter-notices under the DMCA and may remove material we are notified is infringing.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that listings, licensure, hours, or prices are current or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RaizHost LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on listing, licensure, or price information. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located there for any dispute that is not otherwise resolved.

Changes

We may update these terms; we will revise the effective date above and, for material changes, reflect them here before they take effect. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
